They will examine different types of rocks and minerals, learn about the properties and characteristics of rocks and minerals, and discover their many uses. Through the investigation of erosion, transportation, and deposition, students will also develop an understanding of the effects of wind, water and ice on the landscape.This kit contains specimens of rocks and minerals, identification tools, and teacher resources to support the Ontario Grade 4 Earth Science unit.
